I made that promise
which lasts to today
to give up the fight
the endless foray
Those days were longer
as sirens drew near
the flame extinguished
engulfed in fear
Then rise up again
a phoenix in ash
come closer to see
brightness in a flash
Stand tall once more
and look to the light
once again believe
with all of your might
